After a successful premiere at the Merode Festival, Crossroads continues its international journey. In this unique project, the Belgian quartet Motyk and the Georgian women’s choir Sathanao join forces in a musical dialogue where mystical Georgian polyphony meets adventurous contemporary compositions. Flautist Lydie Thonnard is also part of this special collaboration.
From 25 July to 3 August, the Belgian musicians will travel to Georgia for a series of concerts, allowing the project to further develop within the cultural context that helped inspire it.
